The frequency co-ordination and licensing of regular radio services is our core business and we've been doing it for over two decades in Australia. This activity, once the exclusive domain of the government regulator in New Zealand, has recently been opened to competition from suitably approved persons.
We have staff that are Approved Radio Certifiers (ARC) able to issue engineering certificates relating to radio licence applications. We are now offering our services to clients in New Zealand.
Spectrum Engineering has extensive facilities for frequency coordination and licensing of fixed point-to-point links. Our software, originally designed in-house with the knowledge of over two decades of frequency coordination experience in Australia, has been specifically modified to operate in the New Zealand regulatory environment. All our software is continuously updated to keep pace with latest changes in the rules and regulations.
We have a proven track-record in Australia of being able to quickly respond to any request. From a single one-off service to large network rollouts involving hundreds of services we have the capacity to handle the job. We look forward to extending that capacity now to the New Zealand environment.
Obtaining a licence through Spectrum Engineering is simple but we suggest that if you haven't used our licensing services before to please give us a call or send us an email. We'll be happy to discuss the process with you.
We are able to take full advantage of RSM's SMART system for the application and engineering of radio licences.
